What I do
I work with governments, Defence, and those who serve the public — offering insight where delivery meets complexity.
Whether you’re inside the public sector or working with it, this is a tough space.
I’ve spent a long time working inside, alongside, and advising the public sector. Much of that has been with Defence — but not all. I’ve worked across Foreign Affairs, Health, Industry, and State Governments, and advised internationally. The portfolio includes major projects, international agreements, commercial negotiations, procurement and tendering, project recovery, and dispute resolution.
I’ve done business-to-business work too — but frankly, it’s easier.
The public–private divide is cultural as much as structural. Business spends to make profit; government spends to deliver outcomes. That difference matters. It calls for care, judgment, and often a different way of working.
My superpower is getting stuff done — from aircraft to ships, startups to think tanks, service-level agreements to multi-national programs. Logistics, innovation, manufacturing, transformation — almost always under pressure, outside normal practice, and needing to succeed.
When you’ve done it for long enough, you stop counting. What matters is making a difference.
I no longer run a company. I choose instead to help others do work that matters — and do it better. Whether it’s strategy, procurement, program recovery, or delivery reform, I help clients see more clearly and act with greater confidence.
I’m not here to decorate PowerPoints — I’m here to help get things done.

Facing an urgent challenge?
Think about our Rapid Readiness programs. My most common request is to support an upcoming negotiation when there is simply not sufficient time to properly uplift the capability of the team. However, the Rapid Readiness approach is adaptable to any problem.
An intensive program designed to help those faced with imminent demands for which they may not be well prepared, as individuals or as teams. It combines a full day of experiential role plays and training, followed by a half-day workshop designed to apply these learnings specifically to your challenge.
This our most commonly sought after program, but it is adaptable to almost any challenge.
